1 quart Rum
1 quart Vodka
1 quart Strawberry juice
1 quart Orange juice
1 quart Pineapple juice
1 pint Fresh strawberries
1 pint Orange wedges
1 pint Pineapple chunks
Mix all ingredients well. Chill. Serve as you would punch.
This beverage's motto is: Hiroshima's favorite since '45. Guaranteed to bomb you into the
next decade! NOTE: Orange juice and wedges and pineapple juice and chunks can be substituted for
your favorite fruit. However, the strawberries and juice is considered MANDATORY! The vodka can also be substituted for your favorite booze, but rum is
MANDATORY!
The general rule of thumb for this recipe is: two quarts of booze (one of which MUST
be rum), and three quarts of fruit juice including 1 pint of accompanying FRESH fruit (one of the fruits MUST be strawberries)
Personal Note: I "discovered" this one at the 1979 Milwaukee Summerfest. Two fellow
audience members were passing this stuff around in a plastic milk jug several hours before Seals & Crofts were to go on. How come this stuff didn't eat through the jug
is beyond me, but the drink (more of a "punch") is very tasty. I thank those two intrepid people for this recipe. - Michael P. Orchekowski.

A really cool party drink. In a very large GLASS bottle, like the ones
cheap wine come in, add one full bottle of vodka (absolute) of either
proof. Now strain 6 lemons and 3 limes and add the juice (and the rines
if you prefer) to the bottle. Now add 1 cup sugar (more or less to
taste). Now fill the bottle with ice, wrap it in a towel, and SHAKE IT!
That's right, shake this mixture for 1 hour. Pass it around so everyone
gets a shake. After an hour, drink and enjoy. Tastes just like
lemonade.

Cafe Diable
one whole orange
1 1/2 cups brandy
4 whole cloves
2 Tbs. sugar
2 cups black coffee
Carefully peel orange such that the peel comes off in one long spiral and set aside. Put
the brandy, cloves and sugar into a chaffing dish and heat slowly. Grasp the orange peel by one end (in your left hand if you are right handed), and hold it above the
chaffing dish such that the other end just touches the brandy. Using a ladle (with the other hand), scoop up some brandy, and light it from the flame below the chaffing
dish. Pour the now flaming brandy gently down the orange peel as close to the top as
possible. Be careful not to let any of the flaming brandy splash about. Repeat this process several times. Carefully set the orange peel aside onto a non-flammable surface.
Slowly pour the coffee into the chaffing dish to extinguish the flames. Serve to guests in elegant coffee mugs.
WARNING: As with any process that involves flames, proper precautions should always be
followed. It is recommended that you have a fire extinquisher handy, and that you do not try to do this drink when you are by yourself. You may also want to 'practice' the
pouring process with the brandy cold in order to familiarize yourself with how the liquid behaves.

We know that there are a lot of people from all over the world visiting this site and
would like you to submit a drink that is popular in your area. It may be a "Gin & Tonic"
but can also be a "Mountain-biker on things not allowed to mention".
So send us a mail and don't forget to include the region that you are from. It's a bit
difficult because 50% is from the US or from numerical domains.
We hope that we'll soon have a new list feature here on Acats InterNet Bar Pages.

1 Part of Pisco (Typical Peruvian Liquor made from Grapes)
3 Parts of Lime
1 Tbsp. Sugar
Pour in a shaker, with ice and serve in a cocktail glass.

reciepe, you may read the history of Pisco Sour at the hotwired site.
( You can find Pisco in most of the large Liquor Stores in the U.S.A.)

Last but not least a short story about the drink. Condom is a little town in the

great fiesta, with lots of music bands (called "les Bandas y penas") walking thru the town while playing, and lots of alcohol too : it's a real delirium !
